On Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Alhambra Palace Restaurant, Herman Davila and Nelson Velazquez, representing the Illinois Police Coalition, granted the support of the Illinois Police Coalition in the fight against cancer. The Illinois Police Coalition provides support services to injured or deceased police personnel and their families throughout Illinois. In addition, the Illinois Police Coalition also supports local and national charitable causes, such as the March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society. The generous gift of $500.00, presented to La Baronesa Narce for the benefit of the American Cancer Society and in support of the Carol Stream Relay for Life, to be held on June 13 and 14, 2008, at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream from 6:00 pm until 6:00 am will be utilized for research, education, advocacy and patient service programs. La Baronesa Narce offers her heartfelt Thank You! to the Illinois Police Coalition, and to Herman and Nelson personally, for their kind and generous support of this worthy cause.
